GENERAL

All collections are created with limited quantities meaning you’re receiving one of a kind pieces for your swim wardrobe. We do NOT restock products once a collection style / size sells out.

Before shipment, we quality check all products to ensure that they arrive without damage. All garments will arrive with product tags, a hygiene liner and a garment bag. We highly suggest trying on your suit prior to removing any tags or liners. Please reference our exchange policy if there are any issues with your styles fit.

DOMESTIC

All orders are processed every 2-3 business days unless otherwise stated. As we navigate through the constantly changing climate of COVID-19, shipping durations may take up to 2-3 weeks. All orders are (safely) hand packaged with love in Hawaii and sent via USPS.

Each order will be provided with tracking numbers once shipped. We will not take ownership of incorrect shipping addresses, however if you do need to change your address within the first 24 hours of your order, please contact us IMMEDIATELY to update. Once an order is processed we cannot change your address.

INTERNATIONAL

All international orders are also shipped via USPS with a 2-3 business day processing. Depending on your location, packages may take 3-5 weeks to arrive due to the global emergency.

PACKAGING

Growing up on the North Shore of Oahu, our founder’s connection to the ocean and keeping it clean has inspired our eco friendly and reusable packing. We proudly offer this eco friendly packaging for all of our shipments. From the shipping sleeve to our hygiene liners, we carefully selected each component of our packaging to reduce our carbon footprint.

A priority value of Nikoi by Kai is to keep the planet beautiful for as long as we possibly can. Please please PLEASE, recycle your shipping sleeve and the paper product tags. The silk garment bag can be reused to store your suits or act as a small beach bag.

We ask that you do your part in keeping the planet green because recycling is sexy and that's on period!

MATERIALS

Keeping the planet in mind, it is an honor to work with Santa Constancia out of Sao Paulo who has innovated a CO2 Controlled fabric.

The origin of the name CO2control® comes precisely from the CO2 gas that overloads our atmosphere and which requires an urgent collective effort not only to control it, but also to all the pollution and toxicity of the textiles are daily being mentioned in the mainstream media throughout the world. Then, the transparency in accepting that we do not have all the answers and to make a commitment to avoid the worst, to improve the existing and to encourage better initiatives are complements to our proposal to search for a textile production that is more friendly to the human body and to the environment. All trends shows that sustainability is the future and it is not an option for the companies. It becomes an obligation and in this context those eco-friendly products will certainly receive consumer ́s preference, increasingly sensibility with this context, resulting in longevity of business and well being to all. Thus, the 4 Ps from the perfect balance between Planet, People and Results (Profit) followed by a firm Purpose of action becomes the new textile scenario of technology.

The CO2control® fabrics line are manufactured with materials and processes auditable and of recognized effort in the quest for sustainability in the textile, for example: compostability; biodegradability at disposal; exemption from genetic modification; closed production cycles; non-use of products toxic or harmful to human health and traceability of production. It also has the Oeko-Tex® Class I and II certification, an external and international audit that attests the exemption of toxic products in human contact fabrics.

In this family of articles under the CO2control® label, stand out the textiles produced with the latest generation 6.6 nylon Amni Soul Eco®. This yarn is the first biodegradable polyamide in the world developed in Brazil by Rhodia®, a company of the Solvay® group. As longtime partners Santaconstancia has also been the pioneer in the world to transform this new raw material into more sustainable products and fabrics for fashion and sports line. Less than 3 years is already fully decomposed, since discarded in a landfill (anaerobic environment, technology used in Brazilian common waste).
